Cause of Anna's Death
Anna Garcia had Type 1 diabetes which lead to her death. The evidence that leads to this conclusion is that she consumed a large amount of starch, glucose, and lipids which can cause massive problems for a diabetic because the glucose has very little bonds which was discovered in the food analysis lab. Another piece of evidence that is shown in the 2.2.1 autopsy report that has Ms. Garcia's blood glucose level was at 280 mg/dL when the normal range is 70-125 mg/dL. Ms. Garcia died of natural cause which means that this is plausible reason for Anna's death as was detailed in the 1.3.1. autopsy report. I believe she died because of her type 1 diabetes from lack of insulin. This rationale comes from the evidence of her blood glucose build up and her last few meals which consisted of mainly starch, glucose, and lipids. This is further supported in the fact that Anna Garcia died of natural cause supports this hypothesis.
Anna Garcia in conclusion had type 1 diabetes, a UTI, sickle cell anemia, and heart disease. She died of Diabetic Ketonacidosis. This was found in her medical history that she had acidic blood because of too much glucose that built up in her blood. It is also found that she had a very high glucose level in her blood at the time of her death. In which ties into the fact that she was trying to inject insulin into her leg several times but subsequently failed. She had type 1 diabetes in which her body was unable to produce insulin effectively. While her blood became acidic her heart stopped functioning and she died.
